Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Amman Airport, we will go through immigration and meet our transport which will take us directly to the hotel in Amman, where you can settle in and enjoy a restful night's sleep. May your stay be filled with the blessings of peace, spirituality, and ibadah and may Allah ﷻ accept your Ziyara.

After breakfast, we will embark on a journey southward to the magnificent ancient Nabatean city of Petra, which has been honoured as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In 1985, Petra was rightfully designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin your exploration with a serene walk or a brief horse ride from Petra's main entrance towards the gateway of the old city, known as "Al Siq". As you approach the end of the Siq, the awe-inspiring and majestic Treasury monument "Al Khazneh" gradually reveals itself. Immerse yourself in the architectural splendour and spiritual essence of this remarkable place, carefully observing every intricate detail. After your visit, if time permits, we will continue on to the historic site of the Battle of Mu’tah, which took place in 629 AD. This battle witnessed the martyrdom of some of the noble Sahaba of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who bravely fought against the combined forces of the Byzantine and Ghassanid Arab armies. We will have the chance to do Ziyara at the Maqams of the revered companions, Zaid bin Harith, Ja'far in Abi Talib, and Abdullah bin Ruwah (RA), situated in the town of Al Mazar Al Janubui near Karak. Conclude your day by returning to Amman, the capital city, where you can enjoy dinner and rest overnight. We hope this journey will bring peace, friendship, and a deeper understanding of the rich Islamic history and culture that thrives in this blessed region.

After breakfast, we will embark on a journey just 10 kilometers outside Amman, to the village of Al Raqim. Here, you will discover the revered Kahf Al Raqim (the Cave of the Seven Sleepers). This sacred site, mentioned in the Holy Quran in Surah Al Kahf (The Cave), tells the story of a group of devout youths who sought refuge in this cave. In His divine wisdom, Allah ﷻ put them into a deep sleep, lasting 309 solar years, to preserve their faith. Upon awakening, the youths believed they had slept for only a day or two. After visiting this spiritually significant site, continue your journey to the Sahabi Tree, also known as the Tree of Al Buqayawiyya or The Blessed Tree. This ancient and venerable Atlantic Pistachio tree, estimated to be 1500 years old, is situated in Safawi, Jordan, approximately 156 kilometers from Amman. It stands along the historic trade route between Makkah and Sham, which was once traversed by caravans and was a tree where our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ had sat under its shade whilst on such a journey with his uncle Abu Talib. Following these amazing and sacred visits, we will return to Amman for dinner and rest for the night.

After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel early morning and set out on a journey to the historic town of As-Salt, which once served as the administrative centre of Ottoman rule in the region. Begin your exploration by visiting the sacred Maqam of Prophet Shu'ayb (AS), the father-in-law of Prophet Moses (AS), located within a modern mosque in Wadi Shu'ayb. Prophet Shu'ayb (AS) preached monotheism and encouraged the people to abandon their corrupt ways. We will then visit the sacred Maqam of Prophet Yusha (AS), the successor of Prophet Moses, situated within a Masjid atop a hill named after him (AS), in the west of As-Salt. Continue your journey to the sacred Maqam of Prophet Ayyub (AS), who is mentioned in the Holy Quran four times. Renowned for his legendary patience and unwavering faith, he endured immense hardships and was ultimately rewarded with blessings. His (AS) shrine can be found in an area known as Khirbet Ayyub, southwest of Salt. We will then drive through the scenic Jordan Valley to visit the tombs of Abu Ubayda Amer Bin Al-Jarrah (RA), a relative and Sahaba of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and one of the first converts to Islam. As a key figure in the early Islamic community, he participated in all major events and was one of the Blessed Ten promised paradise by the Prophet ﷺ. As the supreme commander of the Northern Muslim Army, he successfully conquered Syria. At the age of 58, he succumbed to the Great Plague, and his Maqam, located in the heart of the Jordan Valley, now serves as a major Islamic centre with a Masjid. We will conclude our Ziyara journey in Jordan by driving to the Allenby Bridge to cross into Jerusalem. May these enriching experiences bring you a deeper appreciation of our amazing Deen of Islam and increase in spirituality and connection with Allah ﷻ and His beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

After crossing the Allenby Bridge from Jordan, please be prepared for a process that may take a few hours to go through immigration we hope it will be swift Insha’Allah.
