The Prophet (peace be upon him) himself emphasized its virtues, making it highly recommended for both brothers and sisters to seek the tranquillity and divine blessings bestowed upon this sacred area.
1. Download The App
Understanding the profound desire of the believers, and to manage the immense flow of the faithful ensuring decorum, the Saudi Ministry mandates obtaining a permit through the Nusuk App. With allocated time slots for both genders, this system ensures that all have a fair chance to experience this heavenly realm.
2. Launch The App
After downloading the app, open it. Existing users should select ‘Login’, while new users should choose ‘New User’.
3. Complete The Form
Upon opening the app, choose the ‘Visitor’ option from the top section and proceed to fill out the form.
- Tap the ‘Visa Number’ button. Enter the Visa number found on your Saudi e-Visa.
- Input your passport number, available on both your e-Visa and physical passport.
- Enter your date of birth.
- Choose your nationality as stated on your passport.
- Select your country and enter your mobile number.
- Enter your email address. Note: Each account requires a unique email. If registering elderly parents, ensure they have their own email address for account creation.
- Set a memorable password. Should you forget it, you’ll need to reset.
- Complete the registration by checking the three boxes at the bottom and clicking ‘Register’.
4. Email Verification
Upon registration, the app will send a 4-digit verification pin to your email. Enter this pin within the app to finalize the setup. If you don’t receive the email within a few minutes, check your junk/spam folder. Note: The email might come from ‘Eatmarna’ rather than ‘Nusuk’.
5. Choose Permit Type
Once registered you will see this screen, under the section Prophets Mosque Services, select the appropriate permit type for either Women or Men.
6. Select Your User
You will then be asked to select your user, tick this box and click continue.
7. Select Time Slot
Upon your selection, a calendar will appear. Choose your preferred visitation day and then pick an available time slot. After making your choice, scroll down and tap ‘Continue’.
Typically, the app displays slots for the upcoming 5 days. If you don’t see available slots within these days, revisit the app periodically as new slots might open up. To ensure your visit to the blessed Rawdah, it’s advised to book ahead and not delay until the last moment.
8. Permit Generated
Insha’Allah, your permit will be generated promptly. It advised to take a screenshot of the permit page which displayed the booking details alongside the QR code. This acts as a backup in the rare case the app malfunctions.
With your permit at hand, proceed to queue in the designated area. Officials may request to see your permit to verify the allocated time and slot before granting access to the main waiting area.
It’s essential to keep your phone sufficiently charged as it may take some time in the que. In the event officials wish to view your permit via the app, you must be prepared to show it. Failing to provide proof may result in access denied.
9. View Permit
Should you close the app and wish to view your permit again, simply tap on the ‘Permits’ option located at the bottom. Under the ‘Active Permits’ tab, your booking will be displayed. Select ‘View Details’, and it will direct you to the generated permit as shown above on step 8.
10. App Booking Issues
If you encounter booking issues on the app, it may be related to your connection to the hotel’s Wi-Fi. In case of an error, try disconnecting from the hotel Wi-Fi and switch to your mobile data or use a mobile hotspot from another phone. This usually resolves the issue.
