Why Is This Required?
Starting from August 2024, visitors from visa-exempt countries, including the UK, USA, Australia, and South Africa, will need an ETA-IL Visa to enter through Israeli immigration. For a full list of legible countries, visit here.
We advise you not to book any flights or packages until your visa is approved. Approval typically takes just a few minutes after submission.
Remember to access Masjid Al-Aqsa which is in Jerusalem, you must go through Israeli immigration, either via the Jordan border or Tel-Aviv Airport.
1. Visit The Online Portal
Visit the official government website to complete the ETA-IL visa form.

Once on the page, proceed to click Check & Apply button at the top of the page.
The visa cost is 25 NIS (£5.50/$7) per person, for both adults and children.
We advise you to read this guide to identify all required information before completing the form.
8. Application Type
You now have two options: “Myself” or ‘Someone Else’. We advise all adults to complete their own forms by selecting ‘Myself’ to ensure accurate and correct information is entered.
For children, a visa is also required. Since they may not have their own email or employment details, a parent should complete the form for them. On this page, enter the parent/guardian’s information under ‘Your Details’ and your email for the ‘Verify your email’ button.
